Sunday afternoon treat!

This is the last of the forever long posts!  Please read all the way down because there are lots of new posts!
We did a little shopping this afternoon then went to get some ice cream!  Parr loves ice cream especially if he is sharing some with his daddy!

First Day of Preschool!

Okay, I told you a lot has happened here in the past few weeks!  Last week was Parr's first day at preschool! ):  It was such a hard day even though I know it will be good for him, and me!!!  He just goes two days a week just for a few hours but I am so used to him all the time that it seems like a long time!  He looked so cute and loved his backpack and nap mat(thanks granny-t  pops, and uncle tyler)
His teachers have been teaching together for 10 years and have been at the school for 18 so I think they know what they are doing!  Unfortunately knowing that didn't stop the tears from flowing when I got in the car!  It was so hard!  It didn't help that as we were walking out Michael looks at me and says..."so what is our objective in doing this?"  Most of you can see him saying this!  I am sorry Michael but I had to add that in and I know there are lots of you who can imagine my response!  I'm thinking..."how could he say that!...Am I a bad mother?...What is my objective!?!"  Needless to say after a slightly heated conversation I realized he wasn't trying to make me feel bad or question our decision it was just a stressful time!  I kindly explained that maybe he should have asked that question another day and time instead of walking out of the building where we just left our precious son with two people we really didn't know!!!!haha  At least we can laugh now!  And he is really starting to like it.  The first day they said that he went and got his backpack and nap mat at 10:30 and went to the door and said Bye and waved!  The second day they said the only time he cried was when it was time to come in from music and the playground!  Sorry to be so lengthy but it was a big day.

Oscar wanted in the picture!
Sorry for the great background but I failed to mention it was also the day we moved out of our house and it was pouring down raining outside!

Chuck E Cheese

While Nana was here we decided to take Parr to Chuck E Cheese for the first time.  He did not know what to think about the mouse.  In several of the pictures you will see that he has his head turned, that is because he would not take his eyes off the mouse for the first twenty minutes we were there.  Every ride, every step, and even eating his pizza he was watching him.  Finally, he began to warm up and wasn't scared anymore.  He had a blast and I think the three of us had just as much fun if  not more!  I looked up one time and mom was playing some soccer game and was really in to it!  I am sad I couldn't get the camera ready fast enough!  I hope you are impressed with my slideshow I figured out a quick and easy way to do it with our Mac.

Quite the little hunter!

So much has happened around here the past few weeks that you may get tired of all of my posts but I can't resist this one!  My mom was here helping us get things packed up and we were in our own packing world when from the office we heard..."mommy, mommy, nana...Oh,Oh,!! "  My mom goes in there and Parr had killed his first fly!!!  There had been a fly in the office all day and he loves playing with the fly swat but I had know idea he really knew what it was for!  He was so proud of himself!  He brought it in our room to show us and while I was taking the picture he started doing his "strong man" impression!  Look out Bindi (the crocodile hunter's daughter) here comes Parr!!!

SOLD!!!!

As some of you already know, we sold our house!!!!!  This is the reason I haven't posted in a while.  It has been a very busy two weeks and we are now trying to figure out where we go next!  Please pray that the answer comes soon!
Selling the house was a great thing but also a little sad.  It was Michael and my first home and Parr's only home so there have been many many wonderful memories in just three short years! Parr has been a little confused but has loved all of the cleaning and of course the boxes!!!  Here are a few last pics at the house.  Thank you Nana for coming and helping us!  We couldn't have done it without you!

This was his last time to do the sidewalk chalk at our house.  He loves sidewalk chalk and trying to copy mommy's letters.

As I said, he loves the boxes!!!
What a great helper!  Parr decided to clean out my underwear drawer!
