HO HO

HO HO is what Parr refers to Santa as.  We are having so much fun this Christmas season because he is obsessed with Santa Clause, snowmen, Christmas music, everything about Christmas!  I love it!  Maybe this happened because I have been playing Christmas music since the week before Thanksgiving.  Parr has not been one to watch TV or movies much but a few afternoons ago we sat and watched the whole Miracle on 34th St.  (the new one not the old one)  He loved it.  Tonight we sat and watched both Snowman movies that were on CBS.  It almost made me cry because I can't believe how fast he is growing up and I love getting to spend this time with him and start new traditions.  Okay, enough mushy stuff before I cry again.

So, when Parr first started preschool I was a little nervous and on the first day signed up for every single thing there was to sign up for.   It has been fun but last Friday I questioned that decision.  I had signed up to help with "pictures with Santa".  I thought, "this will be fun"  until I got there and the director informed me that I would be great as the Elf!  So, I was Santa's helper for 4 hours while jumping up and down and making a fool of myself to get kids from infants to 4 yr. olds to not cry and give one little smile for their moms!  I have a new found appreciation for the mall Santa's and their helpers!

Isn't this sweet!
And yes, the Elf!

What a group!

I love this picture!  This is my nephews, Michael and Carter, my niece Anna Claire and Parr.
Aren't they precious!

Does turkey really make you sleepy?

YES!!!
This is what happened while we were eating our Thanksgiving meal. We were all talking and eating and I looked up and Parr was asleep!  It was so funny!  I hope you enjoy the two new posts.

Feeding the Ducks!

One morning while in Arkansas we walked down to the pond and feed the ducks.  Parr loves to do this when he is in Crossett.  This time they were a little more aggressive than usual.  Apparently there is a new momma duck that rules the place!

As you can tell by Nana's face the duck just put Parr's hand in his mouth!
I think this one is hilarious because you can tell Nana is a little afraid and trying to get up quickly!
"Are you sure we are suppose to do this?"

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I can't believe that it is already time for the holidays!   We are so excited to get to go to Arkansas and spend time with family and friends.  We are so thankful for all of our family and feel so blessed to have them!  As well as, our friends!  Thank you God for such blessings!

This morning I asked Parr if he was ready to go to Arkansas and he put his arms in the air and said "Back, Wooooo Pigs"!  I guess that is what he thinks of every time he hears the word Arkansas.
Here are a few pictures from Parr's Thanksgiving feast at school.  It was so cute and they all loved the Thanksgiving menu.  After the teacher said the prayer everyone was quiet getting ready to eat and parr yells "let's eat!"  It was really funny.

Uncle Jason would be proud!

We went to Zilker park the other day with our friends Max and Heather.  Max and Parr became friends at My Gym and our so cute together.  They look just alike.  In fact, when I was posting these Parr kept pointing and saying "Max".  I had to keep telling him that was him.  Zilker park has a train that goes around it and a fire truck (sort of!).  The boys had so much fun riding the train and then driving the fire truck.  Parr didn't want to get off of it.  He kept wanting it to make noise!

A fun day

It was such a beautiful day today so Parr and I really took advantage of it.  Michael had to do something for work today so we just hung out by ourselves.  We went for a long walk in the morning and he enjoyed riding in the jogger stroller because we haven't done that in quite a while (yes, that means I have not exercised in quite a while!).  Then we ran some errands and I love that the stores are playing Christmas music and the Christmas decorations are out.  I love this time of year, football, Thanksgiving feasts, Christmas, and spending lots of time with family!
This afternoon we went to the park and played hard.  Oscar even got to come along.
Parr is wearing his "Future Razorback" shirt.  Wish it would have given us better luck today!

I MUSTACHE YOU A QUESTION!

IS HE THE CUTEST MUSTACHE BOY EVER OR WHAT?
We went to a Halloween party after trick or treating and they had Doodle Bug there painting faces.  Parr sat so patiently (we were surprised) and got his face painted!  He loved it!

Then, the boys were playing dodge ball and we looked up and Parr was lined up against the fence like he was as big as them!  He would run around laughing!  He really thought he was big!

TRICK OR TREAT!

We took Carter and Parr trick or treating before our halloween party.   They had a good time and Parr thought it was lots of fun to knock on the doors.  He would say, "I want to go knock knock"!  He would not say "trick or treat" until we were leaving the house then he would whisper it to Michael.  They both pushed their "lawn mowers" down the sidewalk.

Cutest Penguin Ever!
TRICK OR TREAT!

FALL FESTIVAL!

Yesterday was the fall festival at Parr's school.  I volunteered to help in his class and it was so funny seeing him play with his friends.  I liked getting to see what they do all day.  For the first 30 minutes he sat in my lap then he started playing like I wasn't there.  Every once in a while he would look at one of the kids and point to me and say " my mommy" then run over and give me a hug and kiss.  It was so sweet!  My little man is really growing up!

Last of the pictures!

These are the last of the pictures!  There are lots of new posts so continue to scroll down!  Tonight was the Fall Festival at Parr's school.  He had so much fun and really thought he was big!  It was really cute!  The had a petting zoo, train rides, pony rides and lots of games.

Michael is helping him fish for a toy!
He really wanted to go on this inflatable slide but he was too slow going up the ladder and caused a bit of a traffic jam!  Michael had to get him off!  He didn't seem to care too much!

Parr and Carter loved the "choo choo"
He wasn't sure what to think about the pony rides!

Fall Festival

Here are pictures of the petting zoo at the Fall Festival!  Carter and Parr thought this was so great!  Carter was chasing the chickens and it was so funny!  He had a little fall because he was leaning on the goat and he decided to run away!

Michael was getting a little nervous when this picture was taken!  I think he thought that they were about to start fighting.  He didn't like the horns on one of them!  I just heard him tell Bob Bob "this is just too dangerous!"  I just laughed!

Busy Week!

We had such a busy week this week.  Here are a few more pictures from the week.

We went to IKEA and got Parr a new table.  He was so excited!
Thursday was Aunt Allison and Bob Bob's anniversary so we kept Carter.  The boys had a great time!  While I was getting Parr to go to sleep Michael was able to get Carter to sleep!  Isn't that sweet!
The Boys loved sitting at the table!

Also on Thursday after our naps I decided we would paint some pumpkins!  We had lots of fun but we managed to get paint everywhere!

Pumpkin Patch

Allison and I took the boys to the Pumpkin Patch on Thurs.  They both love looking at pumpkins so they had a great time.  Carter was really posing for pictures but Parr was not as much in to it.  There was a class there so he spent more time watching the older kids.  He just sat on the bench and listened to the lady talk about all of the different kids of pumpkins.  I was able to get a few pictures but not many.

Can you tell he is saying "Cheese" but not wanting to at all!
This smile is because the kids came over to where we were.  He thought they were coming to see him!
